Hachi Highland

What kind of place

 Hachi Highland is located within a quasi-national park and is a plateau that spreads out at the foot of Mt. Hachibuse, which is 1,221 meters above sea level (a mountain on the border between Yabu City and Kami Town).
 There is a depression at the summit of Mt. Hachibuse, and it is said that the name comes from its shape.

 Mount Hachibuse is a vast, gently sloping grassland where you can enjoy hiking while looking down on Hachi Highlands.
 In autumn, the silver grass that spreads across the foothills is beautiful.
 There are also rare plants that grow in colonies in the high altitude marshes, pleasing both the eyes and the mind of climbers.
 Hachibuse Mountain is home to the Hachi Kogen Ski Resort, which is enjoyed by many skiers and snowboarders in the winter.
 There are Accommodation near the ski resort, and nature schools, training camps and paragliding activities are also held here.
